Favorite Quote:
"In this world, wherever there is light, there are always shadows. As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will also exist. The selfish desire for peace gives rise to war. And hatred is born in order to protect love."

The catastrophic wave of endless twists and turns.

The endless suffering of war.

Never ending. Never, never.

Going on like a giant serpent curling and curling into a massive pillar.

Slithering, twisting, turning. War within our wake.

All forests, plains, all crushed while slithering back and forth.

It never ends, keeps going. Like an endless loop of suffering and destruction.

Slithering, slithering until we’re all gone.

The author's comments:

I am a 15 year old young author who goes to Chester High school and my poem "Slithering" is about how war can destroy the environment and it just makes the world a horrible place when war is making people suffer.
