Making the decision to leave is never easy. From the outside of the relationship you might think, “If they hurt you why do you stay?” I stay because they don’t always hurt me. There's good times too. I hold on to those good times for dear life, grasping at straws, trying to justify not being able to let them go. Like a deflating balloon, there's just enough air for us to float. Weightless above the ground. The good times are when we add air and I think, why pop the balloon if it still floats?
