Charlie Wood Rode

If you would just let Charlie Wood Rode,

not be taken from me, we would be happier Today I swear that

on my feet.

But everyone picks on people to feel better,

about themselves not to feel at all.

Because few need an answer,

not a lie to see what happened in that night.

It has nothing to do with the others but you and me,

until we see the cause what we did on that unrewind day.

There once was a girl looking for her purpose,

but not knowing where to find it.

A women took her hand to show her the path,

until she saw a hanging man and realized all the bad in

humans’ lifes.

It was all a lie in her eyes she cried out loud, “let me go” all the time,

I know who I’m worth for with a tear running down her face.

The women with grey hair let her go,

but told every soul what Charlie Wood Rode did,

a lie like no one would believe exists.

She knew the truth but everyone and Liam believed what they heard,

so she died in that night as a murderer,

 as everyone had seamed.

Close to a farm where I am now,

an old lady with white hair taking my

last breath regretting what I have done.

Her last words were, she was innocent but not like Liam letting her go.

Charlie Wood Rode left like a delicate flower,

as strong as the sun, with a tear down her body and a smile

to let go.

Blind and naive they all were to believe,

that such child was the cause to kill someone just so.

Desperately Liam listened to the truth wanting to Die,

just like his sister that night

With their own drama cause,

the horror was gone until people learned to live with themselves.

And not the others’ problems like this one.

The old lady with white hair,

felt nothing until she died many years later alone.
