No matter how high I may be flying,
I am to fall to where I am residing.
No matter how far I may travel,
It will forever be a battle.
For every flaw I utter,
It makes me feel as if I am in the gutter.
My thoughts don’t always think,
And it writes my flaws in permanent Ink.
Every time I try to erase that Ink,
I never seem to float, I always sink.
So here I am, here I go,
So I can try and grow.
