not good enough
My grades aren't good enough
My clothes aren't good enough
My smile isn't good enough
My heart is too small
My hips are too wide
Skin too rough
I don't do enough sports,
The things I do are not considered real
The constant overbearing feeling of being ridiculed for every little thing I do
Even if I do it because it makes me happy
I'm too smart
I'm too gullible
I'm too "different"
According to some, I have no life, but how can that be true, considering that a part of it is always judged by those who surround me?
What is a rumor if it does no good for the people suffer from and spread it
What is the meaning of life when yours is constantly broken down to bring others up, even though they fall too from their own lives being broken
What is a song if it doesn't appeal to someone else? They must always make an effort to point that out.
What is beauty if the standard is physically unachievable, impossible, or unthinkable?
What is anything when it is always not good enough?

This piece represents the fact that standards these days are so high. Beauty standards, academic standards, social standards. Sadly, All of them make up a considerable part of our lives, and what makes that even worse is that they are almost impossible to reach. One will never be "good enough" because the standards and trends keep changing.
