Smoke filled the air.

My lungs couldn't bare

Hard to breathe

You couldn't see

Scared for when we had to flee

Packing

For maybe a eternity

As I sit in the gray car

Sun glowing red

Feeling blank minded

Hot tears rolling down my face

This was very hard to take

Though I didn't know there was far more

Crashing glass and knocks on doors

Breaking into the empty home

Thankful that my house was one they did not rome

Nearby houses were left empty

Valuables all off to where they were heading

They tried my house

But decided to move on to another place of bedding

Now it wasn't just wild

They were being planned

Throwing from the window

Trying to set

On the dry grassland

Right on my very own road

Somewhere I thought they would not go

Not knowing there plan

But I knew burning peoples home was not something that affected them

Like it was a game

One they liked to play

Something that was fun

In that hot blazing sun

To much to think

To much to see

To much to even dream

Wondering will my house burn down

Will I keep having to move around

When will I have my own soft bed

To lay down

This is something that happened to my family that was very hard for me and my brother. It was something that was very scary and unforgettable. It is something me and my family hope to never experience again.
