Favorite Quote:
Were I to fall in love, indeed, it would be a different thing! but I have never been in love; it is not my way, or my nature; and I do not think I ever shall.
—Jane Austen, Emma

I sit beneath a tree of wisps

I hear their whispers roar

I sing a song

A furtive glance

Soon I’ll sit no more

I live life void of thoughts and pain

My pleasure is my own restrain

Stumbling on the rocks bellow

Swimming in the undertow

I cry for help but no one comes

My cry for help on mute tongue

My heart starts to cool and numb

My eyes close and lashes flutter

My mouth agape fighting to stutter

I sit beneath a tree of wisps
