Just another lovely day downtown with my scooter

My scooter is crusty black and beat up

I have possessed it for 3 years

All I can think about is my next jump spot

It was during this thought, I saw it…

There it was, steep, rocky, and really tall

I knew I had to try it though

So I climbed to the top

And dropped off…

Push, Push, Jump, Smash

I crash into the curb

I left blood stains coming from my knee

I have never landed a dismount on the first try before

This was not going to make me give up though

I try again…

Push, Push, Jump, Crack

I smack my head on the brick

I whack my arm on the curb

Both leave me in immense pain

With sores, scrapes, shambles, and sad

One last attempt for today…

Push, Push, Jump, Swoosh

I did it, I finally landed the jump

I did again, again, and again

The next day was the same way

Just looking for a new spot..
