I go to school, I’m in the band.
I am normal, but on the other hand…
When I tell people I’m in a band, they give me a look.
A look that says, “Oh you're one of those people, a band kid”.
Even my own sister, judging me when I first joined in fifth grade.
Sure, I am in a band, but am I that stereotype that people know so well?
That nerdy know-it-all that plays the clarinet, or a horn?
Not me.
Am I that socially awkward kid that only talks to others in the band?
No, Not me.
Or am I a normal, well rounded, and social kid?
One that shreds on the drums so loud and so fast it's totally awesome.
And the kid that people say, “awesome job” to, after a mass well played.
Yes, definitely. That's me.
