So many things that catch eyes
You wouldn’t think
Skinny and white
Yet so talented
Laugh here laugh there
But for some reason it doesn’t affect me
Continue to ball
No need to listen to anyone at all
So different but so similar
As they finally begin to see
Floating like a butterfly
To jumping to the sky
Basketball is so different from the rest
Judging is all there is
So mentally challenging
Which makes it what I love to be
