The Sound of Silence
In the dead of night
Where the star shine like shattered dreams
In this emptiness we search for our purpose
But it is in the sound of silence
And in this calmness of our souls
That we find the answers we are looking for
It is because in that absence of noise
Our true selves come to light
Unfolding like a secret sealed note
So let us accept, acknowledge, and appreciate the beauty of the unknown
For in the end it is the journey of finding ourselves that defines us.

This piece of poetry is about finding our true selves through the darkness and pain that comes with growing up and learning to flourish is that darkness instead of letting it crumble us.
