silent screams
As the silent echo fills the room,
Where laughter died too soon.
The shadows cast by the absent light,
Speak of love that took its flight.
A single chair, single cup,
Reminders of a bond now cut.
The whispers of what used to be,
Now chains of solitary memory.
Doors once open, now closed tight,
Left alone in the endless night.
Footsteps fading into the past,
A bond I thought would last
Walls that heard our shared dreams,
Now listen to my silent screams.
An empty space beside my bed,
Where once shared hopes were softly said.
A ghost of presence lingers on,
But in the dawn, it is too gone.
Abandoned heart seeks to mend,
wishing for a return that's just pretend
