Visions of Darkness
From the night he is there
A shadow beyond repair
Where he goes you might find
Whispers of life are on the mind
But visions of death ye shall see
The tales of man are at an end
When you look at me I see myself
Where have we gone with angels help
My dreams take flight in the sun
But in the night you will find none
Cloaked in tears my soul is now
Thine kingdom finds its way from grace
The demented goals of a world gone cold
I still hear of the days now old
The fire engulfed the morning sky
Why has he let these people be forsaken
Dark wings of promise these actions take
My lightest thoughts seek retribution
For I find myself acting in religion
His golden glow as he begins to fall
Only her eyes can see through it all
Lies told by troubled angels
Truths given by satiated demons
Each hold an aspect of the other
But neither cry without each other
