I Lived
In the smallest corner of my house,
between four walls and an endless bedroom, I saw it all.
I saw my life go by, grow and reborn.
I watched as my universe expanded, and with all of its infinity I learned about the infinity of my own existence.
I saw my parents fly planes
I saw as my hands as I caressed the stuffed animals in my room
I saw my mother with a baby in her arms
I saw myself in my bed, in middle of the night, crying
I saw my school, which taught me everything
I saw the arrival and departure of my pets
I saw my brother play
I saw my best friend grow
I saw my mistakes
I saw myself writing
I saw the stars in the night sky, while I dreamt with a sky with that infinity that only stars have
I saw hugs, fights
I saw my grandmother's tenderness
I saw my mother smile, my dad's strong voice
I saw myself
I saw myself complete, surrounded and sometimes sad.
And in those moments of sadness, despite this despair I didn't feel alone
Because I saw myself grow, I saw myself give, I saw myself learn
And I saw myself live
