Frozen Moment
Crisp morning air
Circulating through my lungs
Excitement coursing through my veins
We walked onto the field
Cleats crunching in the fresh dirt
Damp grass glistening in the morning sun
Seeing my team, my friends
Ready to play ball
First at-bat of the day
Always a special feeling.
Step into the freshly raked dirt
Get the sign
Swing away
As the day goes on
I just want to freeze it right where it is
I love this game
Never want to stop
I know it will
So I have to be in the moment
The new equipment feeling
First game used
Feels great
Wanna freeze everything right there
I know the feeling will pass
