night.
Gone was the sun,
Pitch black sky, thick air
Emptiness crept upon me like an old friend:
Follow me young one, don’t be afraid,
No breathes,
Eyes glistened in the distance,
I stepped,
Or maybe I just didn’t,
I succumbed to the night,
The intoxicating feeling of sadness,
The cruel tears fell down, burning my skin
Ow. each tear fell with shame
I ran and I ran,
A trail of tears left behind,
I ran until my legs collapsed, I ran until-
Darkness
Ringing
Pain
The night came to me
It surprised me, I yelled
It hushed me, like a mother to a child,
The children of the world were asleep,
Nothing was left but to surrender to the darkness
Eyes closed, body numb, I lay there allowing the night to engulf me
No more pain
No sadness
Monotony lost its best friend
The crescent moon joyfully welcomed me, that night it shined its brightest
From the lune I admired the stars
I dreamt lucid dreams,
In my sleep I jumped, I jumped to touch the stars,
But I fell.
Fell.
Fell.
Fell.
I fell to the light
