The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.

Beside the way dumbfounded

Through the dark woods
As a hearse walks by
Remembered around the house
When grandmother is hungry with tender eyes
Holding two tears
When pressed to the cheek
Motherhood experienced yesterday
Must have come together

Ammavaritanna Chorurulas
Rolls over on stomach
In the memories that hold
With a wandering mind
Back from the kitchen
Bought from the street yesterday
Little JCB today
Chambers of memories
Open one by one

Hanging on the little finger
Witness the moon and walk
Youth has also caught up
The bamboo tree was a mute witness
Sings a dirge
Slowly...

On school routes
When you see others holding hands
Deeply in love
At dusk
On the threshold even when the sun has set
An old time is clear
