floral shampoo
you’re dripping softly with brilliant hues
syrupy lavender globs are stark against the dark
your insides whisper secret shades that make me nervous to touch you
toxicity thrums through your veins
at the bottom of the bottle there are little letters
“consumptionisfatal”
but your label promises cleanliness and bliss and
your hands cupping my dripping wet cheeks, flushed
you’re alluring so i gulp you down in a dizzying moment
decadent and sweet
you’re addictive
i’m wasted off the essence that seeps from the corners of your lips
i want to drown myself in your aura
rose oil clings to your skin
i’m lucky because you let me cling to a single petal
my lips are bruised because i want it to be a part of me
your love gurgles down the drain
a black hole swallowing me whole
i am terrified to touch your glowing skin
but i vibrate with the need for your attention, desperate
