Wendell Berry emphasizes in his poems to care for the land
The land where we live on for a certain amount of time
It is something being borrowed to us, he sees it almost as an obligation to care for it
It can be a life lesson to be more responsible.
He cares a lot of caring for each other and to even love our enemies
To forgive so they can be free of you, and you of them
The importance of staying away from distractions
Staying away from screens and to connect with nature instead.
Whatever the others say or think shouldn’t matter to us
It shouldn’t stop us from doing things that we enjoy
Since everyone on this land live’s life the way they want.
Rejecting or leaving the modernized society behind
to favor a more sustainable and meaningful way of life.
