Motherhood, A journey that ive attained

I carried a baby for 9 months

Going through so much pain.

I nurtured life from the very start,

With my tenders hands and loving heart

My eyes are as warm as the sun,

Gazing at my child, oh that little one.

I struggle to sleep through the night

I wake up every hour, singing a song

Till my baby is calm.

My kiss heals a deep cut,

A voice that soothes my childs tear.

I gently wipe the tears away

Helping my child,

Reminding them how beautiful.

My love is stronger than anyone,

Others will come and go out my childs life

But I will love and cherish them forever.

I carry many burdens, that make my life hard

Yet I hold myself high, to show my child I'm strong.

Through all my trials, I will fight.

Never letting my baby fall.

Motherhood, It gave me my greatest gift of all.
