High school days

, a journey to roam. 

Books and friends

, lessons we’d learn,

 in classrooms where memories burn. 

From freshman fears to senior pride,

 growing up, side by side. Teachers guiding

 with wisdom’s light, navigating the maz

e of adolescent plight school is boring 

when I go to class I always pass because 

I want to graduate but to graduate

 I need to be awake and I’m going

 to need to dedicate my time to

 appreciate what Decatur has at stake so 

I can compensate
