Impurity
I’m dirty
Because of you
I told you no
But you did it.
I have to scrub myself clean
With every type of soap
Until I turn into a bubble
Of rose and ivory and honey
I can’t stand to be dirty.
I have to be clean
Clean from you
Clean from what you did to my body
I will shower every hour of the day
Letting the water burn my skin
Burn off the parts were your touch landed
Smolder the skin that is infected
I will let my skin bubble with soap
And cleanse even the underneaths
To make your stench repel against me
So that I am no longer reminded of your actions

This piece was written about what it feels like to have your physical boundaries crossed. I tried to put emphasis on what the skin feels like
