You
You are buried deep within my heart.
You are my person.
The “one and only.”
Yet when asked to describe You,
I draw blanks.
I cannot remember Your-
Face,
Voice,
Or even Your name.
Because You are only an idea-
An idea of
Love,
Warmth,
Tenderness.
You are my You.
You could take any form You want,
But as long as You are my-
Hug on an unforgiving day,
Laugh alongside mine,
The one that tells me I matter.
I will love You.
And You means love.
