Every Part of Me
I am tall and my own person
I wonder how people can think of nothing
I hear the mouse in my room
I see my cat sleeping at the foot of my bed
I want to have no regrets at the end of my life
I pretended I don’t want to smile but I do
I feel like all that people that I love will be there for a long time
I touch my soccer ball with my cleats
I worry that my jewelry will rust in the shower
I cry at the fact that my cat will someday be gone
I am tall and I am my own person
I understand that no one will stay forever
I say that karma is real
I dream that when I’m older I won’t be alone
I try to show people that I always care
I hope I will live my life to the fullest
I am tall and I am my own person
