Favorite Quote:
"The progress of an artist is a continual self-sacrifice, a continual extinction of personality."
- T.S. Eliot

For the one that was almost a lover,

This was my love for you

Love hurts, Love Burns.

Love is like clockwork -

You clock in,

When times are good.

Then you clock out,

When times get tough.

Love is agony, Love is pain.

You don’t see it,

But you feel it -

Feel it’s teeth

Sink into your pool ol’ heart.

Feel it’s gun

As it shoots down the optimism you had.

Feel it’s chuckles against your earlobe

As it watches the love drain slowly from your heart.

I didn’t realize the wound was so big,

Until I woke up one day,

And my heart could no longer see.

That’s when I had to declare it...

Love Is Blindness.
