A Penny For Your Thoughts

Every piece of myself I have the urge to scrape away at
Tear off my skin and bed God to return it for something else
I look in mirrors and I feel taunted because I don't look how I want
I know I look how I am meant to and that not everybody gets what they want
But is looking this way worth it if it drives me to hatred, let alone hating myself?
