Riya and Ryan that's how it always comes
My name first
Along with all the responsibilities
Always expected to know better
To think faster and be smarter
The birthright comes with the burden
To be a second parent teaching right from wrong
Even when you want to be a kid
It’s not possible to because someone is always watching
Learning and taking notes
Yet why can’t it be Ryan and Riya?
My younger brother teaches me a lot
Patience, kindness, and most of all love
My brother was my first best friend
And hopefully my last.
