Putting on an act
They expect me to react
Any praise I receive, they soon retract
The change of locations
The constant intimidations
The change of pencils
The same old work stencils
The same old typing
My joy they keep swiping
The cauldron of my future I continue to churn
To the patterns of the day, I always return
