It shows us, being the split in between.
Separating us, too different to be on the same path.
Diversity.
Not enough to explain.
Not enough to say.
The urge to divide, the urge used to disguise.
Diversity.
Left alone thinking of what should be done.
Not enough to think of how it should've been done.

The poem " Diversity " aimed to capture how individuals from many generations may feel. We tend to let small indifferences separate us, messing up friendships and relationships. We all had a point in our lives where we looked back and realized if we took the time to talk things out we should have been fine. This was made to help others including myself recognize how to handle situations better even if I have to apologize and be the bigger person.
