Moon Poem
Fly me to the moon.
We’ll bring our spoons,
And carve out the craters into bowls.
We’ll sip the stars
And
Drink
The
Black night.
The earth grows blue and the
Sun glows yellow.
We are shrouded in gray.
We alone eat
The
Dumpling
In the
Sky.

This poem is inspired by a late night conversation my friend and I had about outer space and what objects would be the most edible. We related the moon to a dumpling.
