Getting HIGH meant swinging on a swing?
The worst thing you could get from a boy was cooties?
‘M 0 M!’ (Was your hero)
And DaD was the guy you were going to marry?
When your worst enemies were your siblings?
And race issues were about who ran the fastest?
When —war— was a card game.
And when LIFE was the game you played?
When everything was carefree and beautiful to your clear eyes?
Remember when all you wanted to do was
Grow up?

I loved that. Short but very sweet and true, it's exactly what being young was like.
