The generation gap: a source of family problems.
You try to limit our freedom,
But each generation follows its own course.
We have ours and you have yours.
That’s how it should be.
It causes problems when you try to bridge the gap
With politics, rules and other crap.
Just let us be, leave us alone,
let us live OUR lives.
If you don’t, we’ll end up a broken family
in a broken home.
You did stupid stuff when you were kids.
It’s part of the learning experience.
If you keep making rules, we’ll continue to break‘em.
You want kids to listen;
Can you make ‘em?
