He flew into my life
An Angel of fiery darkness
His wings enfold me
Protect me from harm
My Dark Angel
I fear for him
As he fears for me
I want to hold him near
But when I get close
He turns away from me
In this world of fear
I hope that he just doesn’t disappear

I want to hold you close
But every time I try
You pull away from me
You want to hide yourself
You fear yourself
But I want you to know
My Dark Angel
I need you around
Because I want you
Just as you want me
