Alone No More
The crowd suffocated him,
Hundreds of people
Surrounded him.
He pulled his sweater
Protectively.
Never had he felt
So alone, vulnerable.
Unintentionally shoved
He broke.
So alone, vulnerable.
The pain
Was too much.
He ran
Until he heard
No sound.
And then he sat.
Suddenly crying.
Abruptly wanting
To be alone
No more.
