Together again
Together again
Angels sing
As I start to fall
Closing my eyes
I hear someone call
No feeling, no hearing
No sight
I hear the words,
“Put up a fight’
I open my eyes
And hear a faint sound
I see my mother sobbing,
Lying near me on the ground
Hold on, baby girl
It’s hard, mommy knows
Please, my girl
It’s not your time to go
I feel tingles
Trickle up my spine
I start to whisper
Don’t worry, mommy
I’ll be fine
I breathe in
Then out
All of a sudden
I hear her shout
Don’t worry, mommy
Know I love you
God needs me
We know it’s true
So one last breath
Out, then in
Don’t worry, mommy
We’ll be together again
