Where I Became Me
I’m from the big green house that sits on a hill,
I’m from the tall green tree’s that surround my every move,
I’m from the grass under my feet and the mud threw my fingers,
The ice cream dripping down my shirt and the sun’s bright glitter,
I’m from the ocean breeze and the waves hitting the boat,
I’m from the beach sand threw my feet and the crabs nipping at my toes,
I’m from bit lips and falling down stairs,
I’m from poked eyes and knees that bleed,
And all these memory’s make me, me.
