North West
Oh, the old sunny North West, well what can I say.
The sun rarely comes out and it rains everyday
The autumn leaves lay a blanket under your feet,
Never mind the gum stuck on some streets.
The freezing air chills you to the bone,
When you feel that breeze you’ll do more than moan.
The waterlogged fields and the icy lakes,
At least you can have a game of ducks and drakes.
Although, these things are mere technicalities,
The beauty of the land is the reality.
Flowers and forest grace the earth,
I cannot tell you all it’s worth.
