Searching for a reason
I sometimes find myself
Drifting through this world
Without any effect
I often wonder if this is life
All about
Standing here clueless
My head in a cloud
As time goes by
Dragging along my life
I search through days that have been tough
Looking for meaningful lessons
From meaningless mistakes
To try and understand
How I got to this point
I often try too hard
Analyzing, investigating
Examining and observing
A deeper meaning
There must be a deeper meaning
To this life of mine
Some way to make a difference
Unless there is no hidden meaning?
No reason behind this life of ours?
Maybe I'm trying too hard
Overlooking a simple thing
That will explain this way
Of life
Sooner or later though
A moment or two shall pass
Where I will face the truth
Or something more perplexed.
