As this strange world balances
on my time weary shoulders
I hunch
over burdened with grief and pain
anxiety, fear, and worry
that is not my own.
The weight is ever increasing
bearing down on my broken body
never greeted by rest or relief
and I wonder
will I always carry this burden alone?
