Summer and Winter
Summer is noon,
Where the sun is noble,
And the heat is wild.
Choosing to galvanize,
With its ferocious stream of life,
Falling and mourning,
Easing into the land,
Ceasing to blaze.
Looking in each direction,
For its next victim.
Winter is night,
Where the stage is frozen
And the snow is fierce.
Deciding on fights,
With the merciless river of death.
Rising and reaching,
Melting into jubilance,
Blooming to love,
And always at the end,
Forever waking up.
