Standing Tall
Today, I'm going to venture outside and stand in the rain. With every drop, pain will wash away. Dispair and anger will leave me. I will throw my head back and the daily fallen tears will be no more, my heart will be scarless. Every warm and welcoming memory will become a stone bed that I don't and won't be able to find comfort in. Comparisons will be over because I'll have nothing to compare. When I leave these magical healing
rain drops,
I'll smile more and cry less.
and,
I'll walk away standing tall.
