raining tears
show his fears
the courage bleeding from his heart
so deep and ghastly
it soothes his soul of rage & hate
shinning light
upon the gates
that bars all from separate worlds
locking forgivness from the heart
icy prisons led to blood
pooling sickly down the streets
where mothers cry
so full of hate
unable to stand their sons' fate,
yet he stands
for the hope of peace
taking on the world
for the sake of those unborn
a future untold
to keep many from harm
of bloodshed
of dieing brothers in arm,
he stands for love
he stands for peace,
the soldier we all try to be
but cant seem to find the courage
or effort to do what's needed
to save the world of falling dark
to keep standing
to keep blood from spilling.
