Columbus was here
Ghostly-gorgeous costumes shocks
The thick blood smear
A young girl, smiles away
Her father hands her surprise
A puppy for her big day
The eyebrows and smiles rise
Schools are still in session
Homecoming is just around the corner
Mothers and daughters make a connection
Dangling mums and garters
Hear the wind howls
Oranges, yellows, and reds
Football game fowls
Ghost have not yet bled
