I'll Forever Be
After a fight,
My frustrations hate you,
My tears need you,
And my smile is desperate.
Count my wounds,
Then count your lies.
Your words hurt me.
Your anger scares me.
Important I do not feel,
But to me you are.
“No more will I take the pain,”
But yes,
Yes I will.
For I love you.
For the happy over powers the pain.
As your arms hold me,
I know I’m safe.
As you kiss me,
I know you love me.
As you hold my hand,
I know your happy.
As you smile when you say my name,
I know you’re proud of me,
Proud to call me yours,
And yours I’ll forever be.
