Depression or Anger
Hurt or Defeat
Whatever the case may be,
Do you know that it takes
More courage to kill yourself
Than it takes to keep living?
Pulling the trigger or
Overdosing the drug
The pain may stop for you
But it will start for many others
Who do you think will find you?
Who will make that frantic call to the police?
Police Sirens and Ambulances
Cries and Screams
You never even said good-bye
What were your last words
To the people you loved?
Do you know what courage is?
Because suicide is the coward’s way out.
