Drops of Love

Catch a glimpse of my pain-laced heart
Glistening with drops of love
Streaming down inside- and out
Until they reach the frozen floor
You may try to stop their fall
Struggle to embrace my pain
But eventually they’ll reach the ground
And I will mop them up again
