I Am...
I am…
a leather jacket,
I am nice and soft
on the inside and outside,
I am comfortable on a nice fall breeze
watching a soccer game with my family and friends,
I am hung up with the dresses and tuxedos
because I am very valuable.
Inside of me, I am filled with tissues,
for joyous occasions
and sorrowful tragedies.
My collar is made of wool,
just for that extra comfort
when people just want you there.
My pockets are deep
for people know I will keep there secrets.
I am from stretchy leather,
for big people, and little people,
for short people and tall people.
I am…
a leather jacket,
and I am shared with whoever needs me.
