Can you hear me now?
I'm sick of being anonymous.
Hiding in the depths of dark.
Can you hear me now?
I hated being referred to as “That girl”
“That girl” has a name.
Can you hear me now?
The fact of the matter is?
“That girl” is gone.
Can you hear me now?
I'm creeping back into the sunlight.
I'm whispering my name to you.
Can you hear me now?
No more being anonymous.
I'm going to make you scream my name.
You hear me now.
And then a saying "I'm sick of being anonymous, I'm going to make you scream my name."
Then it was how I felt. Hiding and just accepting that no one really knew me or who I was.
But I didn't want that anymore. And this is exactly how I felt. And feel.
You hear me now.
