See Me!
Have you ever felt so out of place?
As if you’re from outer space?
I have
Every single day
I act as if it is all okay
But when I creep into a dark corner
There is nothing to do but act like a mourner
So when someone knocks on my door
I ask “why didn’t you come before?”
They just stare
That’s when I know that they don’t even care
I lock myself up so no one sees
That I am begging on the inside, please, oh please
Why can’t you see me?
Agree, disagree just please don’t go watch TV
But it is not that they don’t see me
They just don’t want to see debris
