The Windowless View of the World Outside
Cold unearthly water from somewhere not a native to me,
burning and slicing away at the thought of its touch,
and your touch.
Time and time again the endless noise of nothingness sinks into my mind,
letting the inner truth of my life reach its outer limits and escape through my screams of laughter.
No, see the life you watch so dreadfully is not even there,
it hides behind the mask of this worlds elements that portrays onto your face.
Faces covered in scars and lies that are so deep no erasing is possible.
Smile as the glimmering world we so blindly watch,
for it is better than the truth that hides behind the closed door of a mind.
